RFP Environmental Services 0 K. Armstrong, Alachua County Housing Authority ACHA is soliciting proposals for environmental services for a Section 18 application regarding the demolition of 17 single-family homes built in 1971 on approximately 3.17 acres under our public housing program. ACHA is intending to build a 40-unit elderly complex on the same site along with amenities including recreation and parking. The Proposal is for a Phase I and Limited Phase II Environmental Assessment of Section D of Merrillwood Subdivision in Alachua, Florida.

Romig The Alachua County Housing Authority is inviting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide all labor, equipment and materials regarding Lawn Care Service of existing Public Housing neighborhoods in accordance with the Scope of Work.  Procurement packets may be downloaded at the ACHA website at www.acha-fl.com or obtained at the ACHA Business Office located at 703 NE 1st Street, Gainesville, FL 32601. ADDENDUM PUBLISHED 8-17-2020 PER THE RFP, ALL QUESTIONS WERE TO BE SUBMITTED BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 16, 2020.  THE FOLLOWING ARE THE QUESTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND THE RESPECTIVE ANSWERS. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE RFP DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 2020 AT 12:00 NOON EST. THIS ADDENDUM SHALL BE CONSIDERED PART OF THE RFP AND NOTED ON THE "FORM OF PROPOSAL" IN YOUR RFP PACKET AS RECEIVED AND UNDERSTOOD.  ANY UPDATES AND/OR CHANGES NOTED SHALL BE CONSIDERED WHEN COMPLETING YOUR PROPOSAL. QUESTION 1: UNDER THE SCOPE OF WORK ITEM B SAYS THAT MOWING WILL OCCUR TWICE A MONTH FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER, ARE WE STICKING WITH THIS OR WILL IT GO TO EVERY WEEK DURING THE GROWING SEASON AND DO YOU WANT ANY LEAF REMOVAL OR MOWING DURING THE SLOW GROWING MONTHS? ANSWER 1: UNDER SCOPE OF WORK, B.  ON-GOING MOWING AND TRIMMING SERVICES STARTING ON PAGE 6 OF THE RFP, IT SHOULD BE NOTICED THAT SERVICES FOR THE MONTHS OF NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH ARE MONTHLY.  FURTHER, ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS NOTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR REMAIN IN EFFECT. WE ARE STICKING TO THE SCHEDULE AS NOTED IN THE RFP.  SHOULD IT BECOME NECESSARY TO MAKE CHANGES, THEN THAT WILL BE ADDRESSED WITH THE CONTRACTOR AT THAT TIME.  HOWEVER, EXPERIENCE HAS SHOWN US THAT THIS SCHEDULE WORKS FOR OUR PROPERTIE.S YES, WE WANT LEAF REMOVAL AND MOWING DURING THE SLOW GROWING SEASON. QUESTION 2: DURING THE SUMMER WHILE WE HAVE LONGER TIME FRAMES OF DAYLIGHT IS THERE A TIME RESTRICTION ON WHEN WE CAN START AND FINISH DURING THE WEEK? ANSWER 2: WE VALUE OUR RESIDENTS AND WANT TO MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE IN THE RESIDENCES.  LAWN EQUIPMENT CAN BE LOUD.  THEREFORE, WE WILL RESTRICT WORK TO OCCUR DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS AND NO EARLIER THAN 7:00 AM OR LATER THAN 7:00 PM. QUESTION 3: THE LOT AT 2315 SW 39TH DR I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOCATE, IT APPEARS THERE IS A WOODED LOT HERE, BUT JUST WANTED CLARIFICATION ON THE ADDRESS AS I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE IT. ANSWER 3: THIS SHOULD BE LISTED AS 2315 SW 39TH WAY AND IS LOCATED IN THE MILL RUN NEIGHBORHOOD.

Crinklaw   The Crestview Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking proposals for the development of a comprehensive compensation (wage/salary) and classification study to include the development of a fair and equitable pay structure and the updating of job descriptions. Romig DIVISION 0 - BIDDING REQUIREMENTS SECTION A - INVITATION TO BID PHASE 2 CONSTRUCTION OF (2) ONE BEDROOM DWELLING UNITS LOCATED AT DIMMICK STREET AND RAILROAD STREET NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA Bids will be received until 11:00 AM , Local Time on the 12th day of NOVEMBER, 2019, at the NSBHA Community Resource Center at 600 Greenlawn St., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 (386.428.8171 Office) (386.427.3429 Fax) (TDD/TYY 711 via the Florida Relay Service) at that time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals submitted by mail should be addressed to The New Smyrna Beach Housing Development Corporation at the address set out above and plainly marked as indicated in the "Instructions to Bidders," Section B. All proposals submitted by mail will be collected at the above mentioned mailing address at 10:30 AM , Local Time, on the day mentioned above and held unopened at the office of the Housing Authority until 11:00 A.M., at which time they will be opened with those that have been hand delivered. Prime Contractors, Subcontractors and Material Suppliers may purchase sets of the documents for the cost of reproduction which is $50.00 per set. This $50.00 is not refundable. Each request for plans and specifications should indicate that the request is for a prime contractor or otherwise. A certified check, or bank draft, drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation made payable to the Owner or a satisfactory Bid Bond, executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond Form contained in the Specifications in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of Ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. 00100-2 The General Contractors submitting bids or being considered for this work shall be licensed "as applicable." Failure to do so where applicable shall disqualify the bid. All contractors shall be required to comply with the equal employment requirements of the Federal Government, and to specifically comply with 24 CFR Part 135 which requires that employment and other economic opportunities generated by this contract shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low and very low income persons, particularly those persons who live in the projects where this work will be done. In accordance with Section 3 of the US Department of Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968, the Housing Authority requires all construction contractors, to the greatest extent feasible, to provide training, contracting, and employment opportunities to low income residents residing in Housing Authority Communities or in Housing Authority jurisdictional area. Attention is called to the fact that salaries not less than the Davis-Bacon wage rates as published by the U.S. Department of Labor and as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this Project.
